Non-slip treatments, also known as grit applications are clear and do not alter the appearance of existing surfaces. Instead they make the area covered gritty and non-slippery and are usually installed on showers or bath bases, entire bathroom floors and other tiled surfaces. These take up to 48 hours to cure and dry. When cared for properly, these can last over 5-10 years.

This treatment etches into the existing tiles, modifying its structure to feel non-slip when wet. The treatment is barely noticeable and will never wear off. Subtle yet very effective.
After Care for Non-Slip Treatment
As the treatment actually modifies the floor rather than coating it, slip resistance is retained as long as the actual floor surface is not worn. However, it is essential that floors are kept clean and free of debris and contaminants. In kitchen applications, a high quality degreaser should be used regularly to eliminate grease and fats that can build up on the surface and create a barrier between the treated surface and the foot.
