NON-SLIP FLOOR TREATMENT

Non-slip treatments, also known as grit applications are clear and do not alter the appearance of existing surfaces. Instead they make the area covered gritty and non-slippery and are usually installed on showers or bath bases, entire bathroom floors and other tiled surfaces. These take up to 48 hours to cure and dry. When cared for properly, these can last over 5-10 years.

Non-Slip Grit Application

Internal & external floors can become a falling risk when left untreated. MAM has introduced a new clear-coated product that will turn any slippery surface non-slip and safe! This application can be applied to tiles, plastic, polymarble shower bases, timber, concrete and even your old vinyl that just needs a touch-up. MAM will clean, prep, dry and treat the area all in one day. The treatment will leave your surfaces with a ‘grit’ feel, even if the surface is wet it will still be safe.

Non-Slip Treatment – Tiles – Permanent

Non-Slip Surface Treatment is invisible to the naked eye yet increases the slip resistance of any tiled flooring! Creating a safer floor surface and is cost-effective. This treatment etches into the existing tiles, modifying its structure to feel non-slip when wet. The treatment is barely noticeable and will never wear off. Subtle yet very effective.

What preparation does the floor need prior to the treatment?

– For shower areas, we recommend you give the area a general clean up if possible and to not take a shower or get the area wet on the day of the scheduled treatment.

– For external areas, the area may need to be pressure or acid washed prior to treatment, MAM will take care of this. If required, MAM will come back another day to paint this.
